This cozy spot is a haven for book lovers and board game enthusiasts. Enjoy a couple of hours here without even noticing the time fly by! ⏳ The food is delicious, making it a perfect weekend destination for breakfast or evening snacks. ?️ Plus, they only charge ₹60 per person, which you can redeem against any beverage. ? Definitely worth a visit! ?

This is a spacious, multi room cafe in Kothrud Pune - with some quirks.
One must remove shoes at the "reception desk," probably because the cafe has floor-seating also. You have to sign in a register and then on payment of Rs 60/- you get admission to a 2-hr stay. The small fee can be cashed against food purchases.
There are a large number of tables, couches etc. It seems the place is very popular with students, general laptop-warriors, and largish discussion groups.
The book racks seem to have a decent selection of books but couches and other seating is placed in front of them, making it difficult to browse the books.
Really airy, open environment, and a huge place. The decor could have been improved; more art/craft perhaps.
The food was a bit disappointing. The Margherita pizza was too ordinary - a generic cheese laden affair. The cold drinks were just about ok.
Nice place sure to spend some time. Needs a tad better upkeep and jazzing up - for the potential is enormous!

Great place to study or work alone or with friends.
Entry fee is 60rs for 2 hours, which can be redeemed on beverage. Very affordable rate indeed
The decor crafty, in a good way. There are various spots to work and chill.

The inhouse cafe and restaurant serves various beverages and food items, though slightly expensive.

Overall, a great place to study and work in Pune.

Pros:
It's a good quiet place for a break, The atmosphere and sitting area is very comfortable with multiple options that include high raised chairs, sofas, bean bags and mattress to sit on the ground as well.

Plenty of food options to choose from, taste was good. Felt slightly overcharged for the quantity and quality of the food.

A book shelf to choose a book from to ready while your at the cafe. The name itself says waari book cafe, but not a lot of good options for books most of them were marathi literature and novels good for maharashtrian book readers like myself not very good for other people.

Cons:
They charged ₹60 per person for just sitting in the cafe that too is limited to 2 hours. If you order something the amount is deducted from your total bill.

Great variety in collection of books. Cozy seating options, nice ambience with ample space to work or read. Impressive decor. A great place to spend a couple of hours reading. Food was a huge disappointment though. Ordered cheese chilli toast - which was very dry, veg cheese maggi - overcooked with not many veggies just a few peas and rare corn, watermelon iced tea - too sweet, hazelnut iced coffee - the only thing that was okay (not great, but okay). I guess the food used to be good here previously as I can see from the other reviews and pictures, but today it was not at all upto the mark.
Highly recommended for the books and the ambience. Not recommended for food.

Masala chai was a disaster. Try coffee or green tea instead. Safer options. Books lovers must come. Liked the place but food wasn’t worth single penny.

I've been a regular at this place since 2017, and if you check the reviews, mine are probably the most frequent. This café used to be amazing, but now it's a complete disaster. The food is horrendous. They have the audacity to charge 155 for a café frappe that tastes like diluted milk with a hint of coffee. It's the most pathetic excuse for a beverage I've ever had.

I've watched this place deteriorate over the years. The pictures won't do the filth justice. It's supposed to be a quiet café, but they never enforce any noise control. The owners couldn't care less as long as the money keeps rolling in. The place is filthy—stains on the sofas, dust-covered pillows, and an overall lack of cleanliness. And please do not get me even started on the toilets. I think they have not cleaned the toilet in 4 months. I'd rather set my nose on fire.

The service has also been deteriorating. There was a server called Liza earlier, good fellow. The person sitting at the counter now thinks he's the president.

If you visit once and decide never to return, that's understandable. But if you plan to sit here and work, do yourself a favor: eat somewhere else. The food and beverages here are absolutely not worth it. This place has lost all its charm and quality. Sad!
