Had a horrible experience for the 2nd time here today. I didn't feel valued as a customer. They charged me $3.00 for a corner of beef stew because it didn't fit on the platter with a quarter chicken and rice. Never again, they made me feel out of place, and no one could speak to me in English. Felt very uncomfortable and felt like everyone was talking over my platter, and when I asked what they were saying no one could explain what was going on. In the past I have got half stew chicken and asked for a spoonful of beef and never had an issue until today. Again, I just didn't feel valued as a customer. I'm a sporadic customer of the business and this is the second time I've felt this way and felt like they didn't care so I won't be going back.

I wish there was an option for 4 3/4 stars because I only had 1 minor complaint. I was driving out of the shore and was looking for a place for lunch when I found this quaint Puerto Rican restaurant that reminded of those hidden gems you would find in PR. I got the Cubano and Pernil sandwiches. My daughter loved the Cubano and said it was flavorful. I had the pernil sandwich and my only complaint was that it needed mayo or a garlic sauce because I felt the sandwich was a little dry. The pernil was seasoned perfectly and was delicious. I was so angry with myself for only ordering one alcapurria because it was outstanding. It wasn’t dry or overcooked. Definitely will be stopping here again.

Doordashed Torres’ cafe because I love their chicken and pizza empanadas, was eating one of the chicken empanadas and thought maybe I had a bone in my mouth, pulled it out and it was a metal wire of some sort. Couldn’t finish eating. Really disappointed.

I had a Cuban sandwich and oh my goodness!!! It was fabulous, I live about 15 miles from the restaurant and it was well worth the trip. They did not skip on the ingredients and the portion was generous for the price. It’s a cute place with very warmth reception by the staff.

The times that I been to Torres cafe Ms Bonchi is a very friendly person it’s a pleasure to have her attend me. We recommend anyone to visit the cafe. Foods excellent, sometimes you do have to wait for ordered meals that are not available but worth it

Went there for a quick bite and Ivonne is always so friendly. I usually get the same food and she always recommends we try something new and today we tried cod fritters. It was different but tasty.
