The Belvedere Inn provided us the perfect evening to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. The drinks and food were absolutely amazing. The service was top notch. Everyone was knowledgeable about the food and drinks. The atmosphere is classy but chill (unless you're at the downstairs bar around happy hour... that can be high energy). We will definitely be back!

Celebrated my 46th birthday here last night with my wife for dinner. From start to finish, the food and service was amazing. There are two levels in this restaurant, the first floor which is where we were seated for our dinner, and upstairs. Both levels are extremely small, but very quaint and laid out comfortably. If you are wondering how small the restaurant was, I would compare it to Rao's in NYC if you have ever been there in terms of size, maybe a tad bigger.

There was no wait when we arrived, and we arrived promptly for our 5:30PM reservation. I ordered the half steamed mussels for my appetizer and was a good portion for a half a size. I think the full size probably could have been a meal on its own. The broth for the mussels was delicious and flavorful. One thing I would say if the restaurant reads this review, is to include some sort of bread with the mussels so a person (like me) can do some dipping in the broth. That was the only thing that was missing from this appetizer to give it a flawless serving. Even the presentation that it came in was different to see as you can see from the pics I provided.

For dinner, I had the Short Rib and my wife had the Chicken Piccata. Both were equally amazing. My short rib peeled away with the slight pull of the fork. What made my dish so good in my opinion was the grits. The grits, really elevated the flavor pallet of this dish and complimented the short rib so well. The portion was large but felt light at the same time. I honestly could have eaten another portion, that is how good it was. For dessert, we had the Tropical Cheesecake. The addition of the diced up pineapples and mango gelee with the touch of pineapple crumb, made this cheesecake to die for. It was not heavy like a traditional cheesecake you would come across. It was light, vibrant, and the perfect choice to the end of a great dinner.

Coming from N.Y., I believe I have a good personal opinion on good food, having eaten at some of the top restaurants in the country, and The Belvedere Inn was definitely a surprise in terms of atmosphere, service, and food quality. I would definitely would not hesitate to dine here again. Thanks for making my 46th a great night.

Delicious meal, very nice service, overall was a lovely experience for my husband’s birthday meal. Loved the personalized welcome from the staff!

Highly recommend • scallop entree, duck breast entree, crème brulee

Live music was just getting started as we were leaving and we were really happy it wasn’t throughout our meal as it was so loud we couldn’t hear one another! Other tables around us were very obviously having the same frustration - so we felt blessed to have an early reservation to enjoy our meal with wonderful conversation ?

They called it grilled caesar salad, but romaine lettuce had no grilled marks on it. It came out really fast, and it was missing the grilled beef tips I added on. The bartender sent it back, then it's came back out a second time, and the romaine lettuce still had no grilled marks.

Phenomenal food, excellent service, and such a cool vibe. We had a group of 5 on Friday night and ordered the crab & pimento cheese dip and the beet & burrata salad to start. They were both amazing, and the cheese dip was super creamy and full of flavor. The lobster bisque was also delicious. For our entrees we ordered the sea scallops, four hour braised short ribs, prime belvedere burger, and the squid ink pappardelle. Everything was perfectly temped, cooked to perfection, and full of flavor! Out of this world. For dessert we did the vanilla bean crème brûlée and the chocolate hazelnut rocher, and both were equally as delicious and rave-worthy. Between the amazing food, good service, and chill but fancy atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back again!

Amazing culinary experience. Service was attentive, courteous- overall excellent. Our server, Auri (spelling), knew the menu, took time to understand preferences, and remembered details. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy. My food was well prepared and tasty. Believe it or not, the coffee was the least enjoyed food item.

Had the opportunity to eat at The Belvedere Inn for my wife’s birthday. Been wanting to come for quite a while. Well completely worth the wait. The atmosphere was so alive, and couldn’t believe how busy it was on a Tuesday night. They definitely have the secret sauce of success! I recommend starting off with one of there salads for your appetizer. The Burrata salad with heirloom tomatoes. It was so delicious!! Nice portion I was able to split it with my wife. I then HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Filet Mignon. It was Fork tender and included 8 oz prime beef tenderloin, potato gratin, maitake mushrooms & kale, blue cheese cream, bone marrow butter, crispy leeks. My wife enjoyed the Chicken Piccata which includes sautéed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, asparagus, preserved lemon. Another Home Run! Save room for dessert, and try the Crème Brûlée! My favorite dessert in Lancaster so far. I’d definitely recommend reservations!! Can’t wait to go back and try their Fall Menu being released soon!
