Service is excellent here, as is the food. We got the pork fried rice, General Chicken (pan fried), and Mongolian Beef. Everything was hot, so flavorful, and there was enough to take leftovers. Another table got honey walnut shrimp (maybe it was chicken?) and it looked amazing, so we'll have to try that next time. Did I mention the service was fantastic? Everyone is so friendly!

Probably the worst generals chicken I have ever had. There was so much sauce you would have thought I was eating soup. And just a small corner of fried rice! Every single Chinese food place I have been to in life always fills at least half the food trey with rice. Just terrible. I never in life experienced soupy generals chicken, just bad

The salt & pepper chicken is simply delicious.
The salt & pepper pork is also scrumptious ?
The portion sizes are generous as well.
I will definitely be going back soon.
I thank them for a wonderful dinner.

I have always seen a lot of people coming out of this place with takeout, and finally decided to give it a try. I usually go to another place when I want Chinese, but since that place is temporarily closed, I had to venture out.
I am not disappointed at all. All the food we got was super fresh tasting, and looking, not to mention delicious! All the meat was tender, and the veggies were cooked perfectly, nice and tender with a hint of crunch still.
The prices are excellent as well, especially considering the large portions they give you.
I was happy they accommodated me. I called about 15-20 minutes before they were scheduled to close. I asked if it was too late to place a take out order, and they gladly took my order, and told me no problem!
Overall - great food and service! I will definitely be getting food here again in the future.

I give this place high marks because the food is delicious, and I’m picky about Chinese food because growing up we had a great one in San Luis Obispo and Grand China is as close to that one that I can get. I think the flavors are spot on. The lemon chicken is yummy. But my all time favorite is eggs foo young with the gravy, just like we had back in S.L.O. The fried rice is perfect and I have had them serve the chow mein with crunchy noodles like when I was a kid. It’s my favorite way to eat chow mein. Eating in is a great experience usually pretty casual and relaxing. The food is always hot and fresh. This has been my experience. The staff is willing to please and has honored my special requests.

I've been going to this restaurant for 12+ years and have never been disappointed. The food is great always hot and great portion sizes. The service is fantastic and very kind. This is a household name in my family, and I think it's always great to be able to support local businesses. If you haven't tried it yet, TRY IT!

I walked in off the street, hungry, I sat for a few minutes and got my food right away, Great friendly service, Bought Mongolian beef combo meal, very good. Great presentation.
Instantly a pleasant experience.
I am glad they have meat options.

My husband and I were craving Chinese food so we headed up to Placerville to try the restaurant on Placerville Dr only to find out it was closed due to damage from a car. So we googled other locations close by and ended up at Grand China. We've lived in EDC for years and never knew that it was even there. Since this is on the back side of the shopping center and can be easily missed. I have to say the food was excellent, it was so tasty and light, not greasy at all like many other restaurants! The owner and wait staff were so nice, the atmosphere was great too. The portions were generous and I was actually so happy that we had leftovers to take home and enjoy again.We'll definitely be back to this hidden treasure behind Mickey D's!! ?
