Set off the beaten tracks in the Marche hills the Agriturismo has four delicious rooms, a large terrace and a small pool. Perfectly clean. Small but efficient bathroom. The outstanding feature is the friendly, family-like atmosphere. Jams, pasta and vegetables are being prepared daily and you can buy their products as well as other locally produced items.

How to describe a place that is just perfect because of its imperfections? The charm of this agriturismo lies in its rustic authenticity and the warm, family-like atmosphere that embraces you from the moment you arrive.

Our personal experience with the philosophy of Fabrizio and Iolanda is that they strive to make you truly feel at home in their very small, yet delightful agriturismo. It has nothing to do with the perfection that you can experience in a 5-star hotel and a Michelin-starred restaurant, but it connects on another human and heartfelt level. They put love and care into all aspects of what they do, and if you stay there for a few days like we did, you become part of the family.

There is a small swimming pool, which is perfect for a quick refreshment, and 5 rooms furnished in authentic farmer chic style. Meaning they are simple, but stylish and comfortable.

As for the restaurant (including the breakfast), that is on another level. From the 15th of July to the 15th of September, the Restaurant is open 7 days a week every year. Iolanda and her team cook with the best organic, km0 ingredients they can source. Everything on your plate, from the bread and cookies to the pasta and the sauces, is homemade. The result is a variety of traditional Italian dishes with a twist; the menu changes according to the availability of products and the seasons.

Fabrizio has built up a unique collection of wine, from very small producers exclusively from the Marche region, with a great diversity of white, orange and red, both traditional and natural wines that pair perfectly with the food!

Thanks again to Fabrizio, Iolanda and the rest of the Ponterosa staff. We truly felt at home and we will be sure to be back another time!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Agriturismo, it has everything that you would expect from a really peaceful and scenic Marche countryside. Iolanda and Fabrizzio are very passionate about food and the quality of service that they provide. If you value fresh food locally grown that hasn't travel very far, then this is the place to stay. The surrounding landscape is breathtaking. We were lucky with the weather which only made the country experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a great food experience and highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

We only came there for dinner.
It is a lovely place, but the food quality is only 3 to 4 stars. The meat was a bit dry and the pasta not salty enough.
Though the ambiente is amazing.

Our GPS seemed to not work while finding this place. We had to try multiple ways of inputting the address, and stopped to ask some neighbors, most of whom had no clue. We happened by chance upon a little sign pointing towards the place. ||The place is great. The room is nothing fancy (but did have a little electric fan!), but the view is lovely. There's a very small pool. They also have their own garden and use the produce in the cooking.||Speaking of the cooking, it was fantastic. Amazing food. And a lot of vegetarian choices. Breakfast was lovely too. They might have been my favorite meals of the trip.||There are several cats and dogs on the property, as well as many mosquitoes.

My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to come across this magical place in Italy, the couple who run the guesthouse and restaurant are very nice! It was really nice chatting about the country with them, and we learned a lot. He was working in a factory that makes shoes and we got to come and visit her.||||The rooms are spacious, very neat and all the furniture are especially beautiful.||Bathroom is especially beautiful! There is also a swimming pool in the garden which makes this even more fun in the heat :)||||The woman is a great cook and made one of the best food we tasted in Italy, they use organic food and ingredients that made the food even better and fresher.||She also baked the best bread we had in Italy, spelt!!||||It's quit easy to get there with a gps and a rental car :)||||really recommend this place 🙂
