Everything was great, from the warm welcome to the beautifully lit fireplace. Had a pleasant intimate meal with my husband the seasoning was spot on the food placement was gorgeous. If you have date night I recommend 100%

We came for the happy hour around 2, and had some beer and two of the best tacos ever. They are on handmade corn, larger size than street tacos. The fish, and the spicy shrimp tacos were flavor bonanzas. Definitely the best fish taco I’ve ever had. Special note!!! The place is under new owners. They know how to please. Check it out and don’t go by old reviews from 2 or 3 months ago as of 10/22/24.

Was leary at first to come in but sure glad I did. Everything we ordered was excellent. Salmon plate and burger were to die for. Grill cheese was awesome. Server and seating hostess were very cheerful and made us feel as if we were welcomed into their home. Service was phenomenal. Great place to dine when in Old Town San Diego. If you dont try it it will be your loss. Compliments to the Chef.

This was the worst experience ever. A group of 5 of us were looking for dinner before our 7pm show and got there at 6pm. After a slow start to getting menus and having our waitress take our orders we ordered drinks, an appetizer and dinner. After 20 min we finally got our drinks (only after having to seek out the waitress) and another 10 min for our appetizer, the ceviche - which had under fried, chewy chips. At 6:45 we told her we needed the food like now so we even had time to scarf it down and she said we were next. 5 min later we had to call it and ask for a partial refund (we had already paid the bill being on a time crunch) and went to our show hungry. Was not the staffs fault. It appeared they only had one waitress for the whole place and she was nice but clearly very overwhelmed. She also should have been honest about what kind of service or timing we could expect. We would have appreciated the honesty and could have gone elsewhere instead we were just unhappy hangry customers!

I went there November 1 because everywhere else on the street had a two hour wait. I asked why they are not busy they said they were new. I asked my waiter Amante for some suggestions he said blackened chicken on top of noodles and for an appetizer a shrimp quesadilla I said now these are not the baby shrimp right he said no they're the regular size shrimp well sure enough when the appetizer came out it was the baby shrimp and we all know that was previous frozen plus I just don't eat them so I took them off the quesadillas and it was still bland! When my main course came out the blackened chicken and noodles that chicken was nowhere near Blackened , it was a skinny piece of chicken that tasted sour and the noodles had no flavoring! I should've known when there was nobody in there it was just a horrible meal!!!!

The food was delicious and well prepared. I wasn't feeling great and just wanted a cheese quesadilla, which came beautifully plated and was quite good. Many other dishes sounded yummy.
