Very Good Place for You and your Family. Super variety of Veg as well as Non veg dishes in the menu. They do have all types of food be it Chinese, Indian, Continental, Italian , Chats etc etc and a very good variety of Sweet dishes. I enjoyed everything about them, one of the best Buffet in Mumbai really. Only thing is 4200 per pax is a little bit higher side they should curb it below 3000 .

The Pondicherry café is located in the lobby of the Sofitel hotel BKC. The 24 hours dining restaurant serving Italian, Continental, Indian and Chinese food. They have breakfast Buffet, lunch Buffet and Dinner Buffet. They have option of la carte dinning too.

We had breakfast buffet the spread was vast from South Indian to North Indian, Chinese to continental. They had salad counter, fruit counter, juice section, different types of tea coffee and desserts.

In Indian section

There was vegetable poha umpa, sabudana payyasam, vatana sabji (peas curry) with puri.

There was a live dosa counter with variety of dosas, masala dosa, cheese dosa and plain dosa, idli, appam, meduwada accompanied by sambhar and four chutneys (tomato, coconut, beetroot and peanuts). Dhokla was accompanied with sweet chutney. They had paratha make to order (paneer, mix vegetable and aloo).

In Continental section.

There was grilled tomatoes, potato wedges, stir fry mushrooms and mix vegetable tart. In egg courter, one could order egg boiled, poached or omelette too. They had broken wheat porridge and oats porridge and baked beans. There was chicken and pork sausages, meat loaf, bacon

In Chinese Section

They had veg noodles, vegetable bao and fish gravy. They had a counter where one could have,made to order soup with choice of vegetables, rice noodles, tofu and chicken.

In cereals Section

they had different types of cereals which choice of six varieties of milk shakes. they had dry fruits.

There was a section where you could prepare your own salad. There was Greek, vegetable salad too.

They had different varieties of bread. There were different types of cheese,

There was a juice counter, fresh juice was made and served on the table (water melon, orange and pineapple). I had water melon and orange juice.

They had a fruit counter (mix fruit, water melon, papaya, apple, mango and dragon fruit)

In desserts,

They had different varieties

white and dark chocolate donuts, apricot bun, dry fruit slice cake, blueberry slice cake, sugar brioche, Vanilla muffin and chocolate muffin. There was almond twist, chocolate tarte, almond croissant.

There was a live counter for waffle and pancakes.

ambience is good 5/5. the café is spacious; the seats were comfortable.

There are huge options but you can’t taste all the varieties from the spread.

I had vegetable soup, it was amazing and tangy vegetable noodles were good and vegetable bao which was ok.

In Indian, options were too many. I had cheese masala dosa with sambar and chutney which was nice The desserts were exceptional donuts, berry cake, chocolate muffin, apricot tart. were nice. The waffle was excellent

Nice buffet. Variety of items ranging from Indian, Continental, Chinese and Sushi. Food is good and the desserts were really nice. Really liked the icecream. Super creamy and delicious.

For the price, I would have liked some more choices in sea food though.

The food served was delicious and had a lot of varieties , but no South Indian food barring Benne Dosa. Veg dimsum with black pepper sauce was good and prawn dimsum is a must try. Huge varieties of desserts to explore. Ambience of the place is awesome with great lighting
P.S. It is very expensive.

Amazing food and very good service. It was the mango season and they didn't have any mangoes on the buffet menu. We requested Sujoy if he could get mangoes for us. To our surprise, he bought a plate of mangoes in some time. And believe me, they were the best mangoes that I had had this season. Beside this they had alot of variety on their buffet.

The buffet at Pondicherry cafe has an amazing spread as always, ranging from oriental to indian to continental. Its opulence is stunning, giving every diner a regal feeling. Every dish is meticulously made and very delicious, is definitely worth giving a try.
