1936 is one of the restaurants at Lebua hotel in Lucknow. It is a wonderful Italian restaurant that I highly recommend. Our meal there was one of the nicest in our 5+ months in India. The beetroot and feta salad is a delightful variation on the Lucknow kebab. An absolute must as a starter. The spaghetti is handmade and perfect we shared the non veg version of the puttenesca as they have no anchovies. They suggested fish substitute but I asked for capers instead to maintain the silky saltiness of the sauce. We then shared a very good spinach and cheese pizza. The base was super crisp. Rounding it off was a sugar free vegan saffron and coconut dessert -,creamy and delicious.,All in all a lovely night with friendly staff who added to our experience. Please try them when in Lucknow you won’t be disappointed.

*Authentic Italian restraunt with fabulous menu and an amazing ambience.* part of Lebua Lucknow. This is a Luxury Boutique property, located in central Lucknow a traditional bungalow with a huge lush green lawns. It reflects and personifies the "Art Deco" architecture prevailing in the early 1900's

It's easy to get here as it's in the heart of the city and well accessible by car. It has good parking facility.

The restraunt has a breath taking ambience. It has a outdoor seating with lush greenery and a fountain. Ideal for romantic couples. The indoor seating is rustic and simple and gives a calm feeling with dim lights and soft soothing music.

Pros:
1. Authentic Italian food.
2. Very neat and clean surroundings.
3. Friendly and responsive hosts.
4. Amazing ambience.
5. Soothing music.
6. Not over crowded ( I saw only 2-3 couples and a family during both my visits)
7. Free freshly baked bread with sauces and olive oil.

Cons:
1. Extremely costly (burns a big hole in the pocket)
2. Quantity is very less. ( you need to order more than one dish for an individual which further increases the diameter of the already burnt hole)

If you are looking for a class Italian place for a lunch/dinner and exclusive Italian cuisine, 1936 is the best place to go.

The staff are super friendly and management is incomparable.

The food was extremely good according to your taste, if you are there, you must try the Appetizer figs and brie salad and the Belgian Chocolate desert. The desert was very good. The drinks there are of varies and also very experienced.

Probably the best Italian restaurant in Lucknow. Highly recommended. Chefs are there to help you if you are unable to infer from their menu. Ambience is also enthralling, can spend a decent amount of time simply sitting there with food and partner.

Very nice restaurant.

So we got two non veg and one veg pizza
Pizza sauce “Marinara sauce is on point. The thin crust is perfect. Only the cheese is of poor quality.
Restaurant needs to work with better cocktails as well. It is not a up to a mark for the Italian restaurant. But for Lucknow it is the only one rather the first that could make nice pizza.
Pasta is over cooked n not al dente
Will visit again
Hopefully they work on their cheese to make the best pizza in the city.

Poor service. Waiter brought wrong pasta and refused to accept that it wasn’t what we ordered! How is this a leading hotel in hospitality?! The staff don’t have the most basic training in manners and etiquette
Food quality was satisfactory - appetizers were good but the pizzas and pastas were found completely lacking. Not expected from an “authentic” Italian restaurant

A nice little restaurant at the corner of this hotel compound serving authentic Italian food. The food was good and the staff was courteous. The menu is on expensive side even after considering that it is a fine dine restaurant.

It’s okayish and expensive …. Interior and all is good … but I don’t feel like it’s authentic Italian …. U will get much better food in local shops in Lucknow I feel … not worth it …
