Our office orders here often. Today we ordered (asked for over the phone) - Two biscuits and gravy, 2 scrambled eggs and non crispy bacon, and a side of grits. Bacon was so hard it almost broke a tooth. Half a container of gravy for one biscuit, is not even enough for both sides of the biscuit. Scrambled eggs- there are definitely not 2 eggs in this container. What is the deal? You charge top dollar and the food is less than sub par. Its cold when we get it and it is supposedly fresh food?

Will stop ordering from here as our money is clearly going for the containers, not the food. Very sad and discomforting. This is a cool spot to be but the consistency and value just isnt there.

You have to try this place! 1st time here, and we were very, very pleased! The BBQ Shrimp Benedict and the Debris Benedict were, OMG, so good! Who Dat Scrambler was very good too. When they ask you if you want your biscuit grilled, say yes! Trust me! Our server was great!

This is our first time here and this is a tough one. I was expecting really good things, but I can only report on our one and only visit so far. I was considering between 3 and 4 stars and only gave it four stars based on the fact that this could be much better than it was.

First thing you notice is the brightly painted insides and outsides. Judging strictly by the painting and artwork you would guess that this is a seaside restaurant.

When we got there we had a 20 minute wait as expected. 11:00 a.m. on Sundays should be a busy time for any restaurant that is worth it for brunch. The waitress was totally nice and did a good job. I will note that I gave the service only three stars as it took 35 to 40 minutes to get our plate after we ordered. The waitress came out and explained that somebody in the kitchen had a reason to leave so I understand why this happened but it still happened. It's my opinion that service on Google Maps is everything not just your server.

The menu has so many items on it that it was tough to choose. I made probably a bad choice to judge a place on as I chose the grilliades and grits.

The grilliades were pretty good. The gravy had excellent flavor and the meat itself was nice size but not very tasty. The grits were well prepared and flavorful. In addition, I had the grilled biscuit which I had high expectations for but the grill part was barely even noticeable. The biscuit was fluffy and enjoyable. My wife had eggs Benedict on a biscuit and she enjoyed that thoroughly the poached egg and the hollandaise sauce were just right.

We will return and I hope things will be better and I'll order something more typical to confirm the 4 start rating.

Haven't been here in years, probably due to the wait. There is a wait... because it's that good! Turns out though, it wasn't that bad... gave our names and just waited in the car for the text. The food was incredible! And the menu... probably 100s of possibilities, all made fresh to order. My biggest issue will be trying something new next time we visit, as my steak and eggs choice was an absolute delight.

Super delicious lunch. My husband had the stuffed BBQ shrimp poboy -- delicious! I had the pot roast on a croissant. Yum! As we were leaving, we said: this is a place we'll come back to. The waitresses were friendly and helpful and not hovering. The food was served hot and delicious and the key lime pie for dessert -- so great! The pie had real whipped cream and a graham cracker crust that was obviously homemade-- not out of a freezer or a box. Adding to the experience was the funky decor with mermaids and colorful messages of love on the wall. Every table filled at lunch, which indicates a great spot. Five stars all around.

This morning, I decided to surprise my wife and daughter with breakfast. I opted for takeout and ordered the veggie scrambled eggs from this charming breakfast place. My family absolutely loved it.

But what truly stood out was the exceptional service. While waiting for my order to be prepared, I couldn't help but notice the staff's dedication. Every person who walked through the door was greeted with a warm 'good morning' and a welcoming 'welcome in.' It's the kind of personal touch that makes a meal feel even more special.

The person who took my order seemed annoyed the whole time and food takes a while to prepare. long lines and short hours but that also speaks to how delicious the food is! Complex creole flavors and food sits well/tasted good even when cold. Highly, highly recommend, but all the locals alr know ;b

Very yummy breakfast! But they were very crowded, tight spaces for tables, bar seating, and even just walking around.

They let four people stand beside two seats at the bar seating next to me . The woman next to me took up all my elbow and table space for a single drink… I wish they didn’t let them stand there like that, it was very disrespectful.

Other than that, I loved my French toast! It was very fluffy, flavorful and delicious. My husband’s hot sausage was the best out of the whole order though! I should’ve got one too. And the cheese grits didn’t even say it had meat with it, it was a pleasant surprise.

It was a bit of a wait, but understandably so with a full dining room. I’d definitely come back, but will have to plan ahead to not wait til we’re starving.
